Taxiway Echo for the Runway 07-25 Expansion and Associated Works Project

he scope of the project is to widen the existing Taxiway Echo improving enter and exit maneuvers to parking stands 8 to 14. Currently, not enough space exists behind the tail of the aircraft to make a turning maneuver after pushing the aircraft back out of these stands, line up with the taxiway centerline and eventually start taxiing on its own power. Instead, the push-back maneuver has to be extended to the East end of the taxiway Echo, where enough space exists to make the needed turn to head to the runway via taxiway Alpha. This maneuver implies the blockage of the taxiway Echo until the push-back maneuver is completed. The goal of the project is to provide the necessary space in the narrower part of the taxiway to allow for a better procedure for the exit maneuver of the parking stands.
